From the end of November and throughout the month of December, the Montreux Christmas Market each year features 150 decorated and illuminated chalets along the quays.

In the best tradition of Christmas, crafts, tastings of regional specialities, mulled wine and thousands of gift ideas are there for you every year at this superb market.

From the shores of Lake Geneva to the neighbouring mountain tops, the Montreux Christmas Market offers many activities centred around its traditional wooden chalets to delight visitors of all ages. You can visit Santa, who comes directly from faraway Lapland to his house at the Rochers de Naye, discover an authentic Christmas Village in Caux, or stroll through a medieval market and attend a story festival within the walls of the legendary Château de Chillon.

Year after year, the Montreux Christmas Market guarantees you a warm and friendly welcome in a festival of colours that create a magnificent atmosphere in the heart of the Montreux winter.

My name is Diana Hong who is 3rd year students from Swiss Hotel Management School. Because i m very interested in Christmas market so i decided to a project about montreux Christmas markets for my graduation report. Therefore, i am writing this letter to ask you some questions.

i would like to ask you following questions;
1. what is the goal and objectives of the Montreux Christmas market?
2.who is in charge of holding this event? government or Montreux city itself?
3.Christmas market does not have tickets, so where do you get profit? is this evetn non-profit event for developemenr of Montreux ?
or do you colloct money from exhibitors?
4. how do you contact or communicate with exhibitors?
5. is there any web site that i can get more information about Montreux Christmas market?

j'aide à la Cabane à sucre, c'est vraiment une super ambiance.tout le monde est extrêment sympathique, y compris la police de Montreux et les bucherons.

c'est formidable cette association, j'imagine que ce regroupement aura de l'influence auprès des Autorités pour faire avancer les projets et se concentrera à l'avenir sur l'avenir de Montreux en lieu et place de se regarder le bourillon!
