Montreux Volley Masters

An international women’s indoor volleyball competition, the Montreux Volley Masters brings together the best national women’s teams from around the world. The Montreux tournament is a world exclusive and today is undeniably one of the major world volleyball events. It allows championship teams and Olympic medal winning teams from around the globe to meet and compete at an optimal period of the year and to prepare for the official IVBF competitions, notably the World Grand Prix, the World Championships and the Olympic Games.

Having begun in 1984, the event enjoys a notoriety that goes beyond the Swiss borders. Its recognition by the highest authorities in the sport, notably the International Volleyball Federation (IVBF), make it unarguably a major Swiss event and it is recognized as the most important international invitational volleyball tournament in the world.

Alongside the main competition, the Montreux Volley Masters also organises various “satellite events”. As an added feature, a popular Mini Volley takes place every afternoon near the Omnisports centre attracting over 1,300 participants during the week.

Year after year, the Montreux Volley Masters offers exciting play and continues to provide a warm and friendly welcome in an exceptional environment to participating teams and spectators alike.

I´m peruvian and I´m very proud to see my country playing volleyball in Montreaux city !
I´d like to be there, supporting to my team, but I just see it on tv. This tournament is cool, ´cos you see a professional volleyball. I´m grateful that Peru has been choosen by the IVBF for playing in mONTREAUX. I´m gonnna see on my telly right now !! :)

la finale, de la dernière confrontation dans la salle du collège, entre Cuba et la Chine,m'a laissé un souvenir inoubliable. Et davoir pu encore approcher à la x des joueuses de cette classe là et le terrain de jeu de si près, fut également inoubliable. les compétitons au Pierrier sont biensur plus confortables et un régal pour le spectacle offert comme pour la qualité de l'organisation et de l'accueil. merci infiniment ...

J'ai suivi les finales depuis 3 ans et je trouve que c'est un événement d'avoir la possibilité de suivre des matchs d'un tel niveau. Beaucoup d'intérêt de la part de nos équipes juniors. Merci à tout le staff organisateur pour le boulot accompli.

cela fait plusieurs années que nous venons avec nos filles au volley master et c'est toujours génial de voir évoluer ces filles à ce niveau ( car nos filles font du volley dans un petit club) et c'est toujours une superbe aventure de venir à Montreux.

Montreux Volley Masters is a very interesting and enjoyable event, I have been there with two friends already two times. This year I`m also planing to join the volley masters and see all the great matches! It is a good chance to see the world`s best teams during one week.
